Christie¡¯s wrapped up a record-breaking year for fine timepieces, realizing $91.2 million in total sales ¨C the highest annual total ever for the the global auction house. Hi Everyone,I've set aside the funds to purchase my first pre-owned Rolex, and I'm set on either the Sub-C (116610LN) or ceramic GMT Master II (116710LN).From some forum digging, I've noticed that in the recent months, resale prices on these sports models are going for quite a bit more than they were just half a year ago (CONUS). I was wondering if pre-owned market prices have risen linearly over time and I should just buy now, or if this is a cyclical trend of sorts (i.e. Rolex supplies fewer watches to ADs in Q4) and I should wait a few months?In a similar vein, should I expect any value changes to these models following Baselworld 2018?Thanks, and hope everyone has a happy New Year!
