- The watch is lovely, unique, comfortable, and easy to read. Just what I wanted and who can question the Seiko reputation for quality? I plan to wear it for years.

- The Watch has a large face, I didn't know that when I purchased it. I normally only buy ones. I do like the watch. It was worth the purchase price.

Seiko Seiko 11826 wrist watches news:
For 2014, Ulysse Nardin continues to move "in-house" by replacing many of its existing watch collections with new ones that include in-house made movements. With the "Perpetual Manufacture" the brand's perpetual calendar movement gets a full in-house treatment. Previously it was a sort of half and half movement combining an in-house module with something like a base Swiss ETA automatic. To debut the fully in-house made perpetual calendar movement Ulysse Nardin will release the first models as a limited edition set.Ulysse Nardin has been making in-house movements for quite a while, but most of them have been in their most high-end watches. This includes their various minute repeaters, tourbillons, and range of exotic high-complication timepieces. Only with the caliber UN-118 (hands-on here) finally released in 2012 did Ulysse Nardin begin to produce in-house made movements for their larger collection of watches. The UN-118 has been complimented but a range of other calibers and for 2014
No not my watch collection but my non-watch Rolex collection. It's a marble Rolex display stand that will take pride of place on my desk.
Swiss made, Holmar Automatic, probably (maybe) from around the 1940 or '50'sHolmar_e.jpgIt belonged to my Great Aunt who passed away many years ago.Single jewel so probably nothing spectacular but a pretty little watch.I'm thinking about cleaning it up and giving it to my wife.Needs a clean and lube and a band.I've searched all over the 'net and checked the reference books at the library but can't find any information at all about this company.
just noticed that the 510 & 511 are on OP's website. 510: .panerai/en/watch-coll...-days-pam00510511: .panerai/en/watch-coll...-days-pam005118 DAYS text is official.....but, maybe subtle in real life? and maybe the 112 equivalent will get a PR on the back? some 511 pix from OP's FB page:
It is my considered opinion that fans of Rolex watches, believe that the blue dial S/S Skydweller is the favourite - similar to the DJ 41. It is also recognised that this particular configuration is extremely difficult to obtain. But which is the 2nd favourite colour and why? What made you choose one variation over the other?Perhaps you prefer either light or dark coloured dial or that one is more easier to read.I would be most interetesd in reading your thoughts, especially from members who have gone through the same thought process.Of course, it goes without saying, that photos are a necessity of each thread, so please feel free to include some.
