Seiko SSC021 wrist watches news:
Does anyone know anything about the Hamilton S/S Khaki Chronograph item that is frequently on eBay? It claims to be a discontinued model, brand new with a Hamilton factory warranty, have an original retail of $1250, and run on the Valjoux 7750. The item typically goes for $430-500, and the seller seems forthcoming and on the up and up when I emailed him. Is this a legit item, and a good deal at that? It sounds to me like it is, but I wanted to get your opinions before I tried to snag one. Thanks!
So....my beautiful new white faced steelsfish makes on odd sound when the rotor spins. Its not a typical winding spin but instead it sounds like a few pronounced clicks. Is this normal? Also how do you check the accuracy of you watch? Do you just line it up with the atomic clock and check it again in 24hrs. After a few months wear should it be within cosc? Mine gains about 15-20 seconds a day (after 5 months of continuos running). Its enough to annoy me, but not bad enough to make ME send it in with the warranty. Or should I????thanks
During the day....At night(Concord Impresario Chrono w/ Zenith El Primero movmn't)
Comethunter or any other mod, please delete this thread. I erroneously labeled it 'Friday' instead of 'Wednesday.' I guess I was subliminally wishing it was Christmas morning when I created it.
I have a bit of a dilema. I am going to treat myself to new watch but cannot decide between the Tag Heuer Carrera CV2014.BA0786 or the Planet Ocean 42mm Bond. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
