Seiko SNAE47 wrist watches news:
This one returned to the collection on Monday and has been on my wrist ever since:This is a custom Speedy that I put together back in 2006 and was my second project watch (PW2). The movement came out of an early 80's "beater" given to me by a friend:Unfortunately I sold it in 2008 to help fund the Explorer II and have grieved ever since. Fortunately, the purchaser has graciously allowed me to have him back.My new LiquidMetal Planet Ocean and GMT IIc must be wondering what happened. They've sat on the winder since Monday. "PW2? What's a PW2?", they must be asking.Fr. John?
Hello all,I bought a P series Sub, used, two years ago and enjoy the watch very much; when I wear it.And that's the issue. I probably pull it out once or twice a month to wear and the rest of the time it sits in it's box next to my newly accuired wedding ring.So far, no problems with it, but I'm curious what opinion you guys might have about the need for a watch winder given how seldom it's worn. I don't mind winding and setting the Sub for going out, but at the same time I don't want to cause damage that will warrent a service center fix (I can't believe how much they charge for servicing). I've been out on the web and have found conflicting reports over the question about needing a watch winder for the good of my watch. My instinct as a former machinest tells me that no use equals no wear, does this hold true with these automatic watches?Jack
HiAD offer € 4,100 for Avenger Blackbird 48 with extra Breitling plastic strap. This is my first time for Breitling.Deal is O.K or not ?Thanks
I started my collection with an Omega Double Eagle Chrono which I eventually sold. But with the Liquidmetal PO, I will be back with Omega for good. This watch rocks.
Having given up trying to get a new SS Daytona from an AD, I've decided to go the Grey route.Which do you think is a better buy for the long term? A newish black dial 116500LN or a 10 year old black dial that has been serviced at RSC?The difference in cost between the two is around ¡ê3,500 (UK).The plan is to keep it for 10 years and then give it to my son. In the mean I will wear the hell out of it.Thanks
