Seiko SNDA59 wrist watches news:
Dear All,in recent time I have been discovering/investigating the world of high-end Seiko and probably my recent posts seem quite disorganized, I shall try to explain my interest for all the watches I am asking about soon just not to have you feel that I am asking completely crazy questions. This time the "crazy question" is about the watch in the subject, it is a Grand Seiko GMT in a special edition which includes a different rotor in the movement and a transparent back and the question is the following: does anyone know whether this is a limited edition or can be found somewhere new still these days? Of course any other information or how to order, price...whatever is also welcome! As usual thanks in advance,GLF
I took this screenshot from eBay. The seller mistakenly thought he had a 761 Elgin with box.Anyway, it does confirm that Elgin named the 760/761 movement series watches Thin Thin and they were delineated by jewel count and A (at least that is what I've seen so far in the ads).
Hi, I have a watch collection and some have cabachon crowns. I personally think these add something to a watch.I would like to fit these to a couple of watches but have no idea whether crowns and stems are one peice or seperate. Also does a stem screw into the side of a watch and is the fit dependant upon the length of the stem. Are all screw threads compatible with all watches as a standard fit. Sorry to show my ignorance but at the moment I have not a clue. Thanks jack
I am looking to purchase my first Omega. I am heavily torn between a 41.5 Aqua Terra (Skyfall blue) and the PO GMT Goodplanet. 5 days a week, I dress business casual. On the weekends, I am active outdoors. I travel international 1-2 times per year, so while the GMT feature will come in handy on those occasions, it will be more of a novelty. I think the AT makes more sense for me, but I can't shake the feelings I have for the Goodplanet. That beautiful lacquered dial and ceramic bezel just speak to me. I think at some point, I would like to own both, but for the time being, I have to pick one. Which watch would you pick?
I found a 2254 on the bay and I was wondering if i could get some opinions on it. Mainly if everything looks right on it? Would it be worth buying? thanks Joe .ebay/itm/251156680598...84.m1423.l2649
