Seiko Deepens Prospex Watch Line With The Marinemaster Kinetic Direct Drive
I am convinced that Seiko loves their dive watches most of all. Not only do their dive watches get to sample each fragment of new technology that they release, but dive styled watches fall at the bottom and top of Seiko's watch line from a price perspective. One result is a dizzying array of diving watches available from Seiko. I'll never be able to wrap my head around their many models, and Seiko has succeeded in keeping my interest on their new releases to see what they come out with next.Relatively new is the new Seiko Prospex Marinemaster with the Kinetic Direct Drive movement model SBDD001. The Kinetic Direct Drive movement fits in between the normal Kinetic movement and the Seiko Spring Drive. See here for the explanation of the various Seiko movements especially the Direct Drive. From the most basic of views, you have a typically styled high-end Seiko dive watch with some special features. Most important is the Kinetic Direct Drive and the corresponding power gauge on the dial.

New Seiko srp589 Prospex diver
Just arrived two days ago, and I'm enjoying this one. Features the 4r36 movement (hacking, manual winding and self winding), screw down caseback and crown, 200m. A good size, and wears well. Some pics below:Anyone else have this model?Eric

Help, info on 2 old manual winds I just found..
Hello,Could anyone give me any info or forward me to a site/forum about these two manual winds pocket watches that just fell into my hands. One says INDUSA, shockproof (left) on the face and the other just says patent london (right). No informative markings on the backs or anywhere else that I can see. The Indusa still works! But is running about 10 minutes slow a day so probably requires a servicing. (is it worth it?) The Patent London however does not work though the winder seems to be ok as there is resistance and clicking when turning.Thanks for looking,triz

Hey folks,Long time Panerai owner here. I've been looking at getting into an AP ROO for quite some time now. I was first convinced the Panda (older style) was the one for me... then switched to grey themes ti... then switch to the new panda... then settle on RG RC... then fell in love when I saw the RB2 Ti. For AP owners... did you have the same experience of not sure what I want for your first AP or did you guys/gals know right off the bat?Also, I've looked at every pic on google for the RB2 Ti. Can any owners post actual pictures of this watch? Last question... I have a relatively small wrist (6.2). I currently have a Pam 48 (40mm) and a Pam 88 (44mm). I've had the 88 for the last 3-4 years and think it fits fine. Will the ROO (specifically the rb2 ti) look massive on my wrist?Edwin
