I was told that the watch I have had since I was 17 (now 45) was intended for the Asian market. It is a Seiko Sports 100 (8229-8019). I have for many years found it very difficult to find parts for it, maybe because of the age, but I was thinking another element that is impacting parts availability is the fact it was made for Asian market. Can anyone confirm this, and can anyone offer a source of replacement parts from Japan side? I also have a Seiko Sports 100 (8229-602A) that I need a rotating bezel for. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
Hi Everyone,My wife has a Cartier Santos quartz watch that has developed a problem. Basically whenever the second hand tries to pass the minute hand it gets stuck. If I adjust the time and move the minute hand it will run for another minute and then get stuck again. The hands themselves are not touching. Does anyone know if this is something that can be fixed? I can buy a whole new movement for around $300 so I am wondering if that is the better option. Thanks
Ok guys, need some help!Should I keep my 15703 and buy a bracelet, or just sell the 15703 and use the bracelet money to help buy the 15400? Thanks!
HiI had the chance to try out my friends Sub C today and I took the chance to take some photos with my Iphone together with my Planet Ocean Liquid Metal. Both are beutiful and great watches, but I am still happy that I got the PO LM instead of the Sub C, it just looks more modern and have nicer details IMHO. Enjoy the pics
