I've noticed that we Rolex lovers who follow the forums like to use the official terminology that Rolex coins (most of the time anyway). I see that in their advertising, Rolex uses the term "Official Rolex Jeweler", not "Authorized Dealer". To be more official/erudite , shouldn't we use "ORJ"? I know, we've been using "AD" for so long we are not going to change, but I just wanted to open the discussion.
I haven't done any new pics for a while and today was nice out so out I went. I had originally planned to take a lot more of different watches, but I forgot how time consuming (no pun intended) taking watch pics is...so I just got the Breitlings for now.Not too bad for a 9 year old digital camera...S.O. Steelfish under water...Out of water...The pair:
Saw my grail a couple of weeks ago in AD window and decided to treat myself for my upcoming birthday in December and so left a deposit to hold and thought i would collect next month on my birthday. Well as you can imagine I've been itching to pick it up. Well decided i could not wait any longer and collected yesterdaywill post more pics later
If you still have it. Let's see them. This is my 1st Rolex, a 14060M. F serial. I purchased in 2004/2005. It now sits on my old dad's wrist. I was visiting my parents today and snapped this pic. I've had many Rolex come and go since, but this one will never be sold. He's worn, cherished, trashed, and lived in this watch for the last few years. It's been serviced and crystal replaced after a mishap. Never polished. And he's never asked, can I wear it while I ..........?. I look forward to seeing your responses.
