TAG Heuer WAN2111.BA0822 wrist watches news:
I write this as I am here in Japan spending time with Seiko (though I will post it after my return to the States). So much to talk about, I don't even know where to begin. Well this article is about the Seiko Izul. A watch that I learned about today that I should have heard about a long time ago. This is a damn cool watch. So I was at Seiko's headquarters today and one of the people we met was the nice gentleman who designed the dial of the Seiko Spring Drive Spacewalk, a watch many of you are deeply desiring. The good news is that the Spacewalk will be released as a 100 piece limited edition set. The bad news is that it will be $28,000. I digress. Everyone at Seiko was wearing an awesome Seiko watch that I'd not seen before, and he was wearing something that I'd never even seen images of. It had the style of the Spacewalk, but a totally different dial look and case. From a distance I could tell that it was derivative of the Spring Drive Spacewalk, but I thought maybe it was some speci
iwc 1.jpgiwc3.jpgiwc2.jpgCan anybody enlighten me about this IWC cal.89, SS ?...I would like to buy it, but I didn`t find on the net a model with this kind of dial and those linear "hands", but only with those "spear" shaped hands. Also the crown is not marked, but I understand that it was common for the IWC`s of the perioud. Is it a "franken" or this combination existed? ...the owner told me that is a model made for the U.S. and hence the aspect of the arms. I think it looks in great shape, don`t you? The deal is a trade between my Breitling Shark automatic in mint state and the IWC...is it worth? I1`m really waiting for your oppinions, since I`m a newby in IWC`s. I went to a Hamilton AD Thursday and got a quote on a Jazzmaster Moonphase that I absolutely want, and wondered if his 40% off price at $1,461.00 is as good a deal to expect (the Retail price is $2,445.00). I think it is a pretty good deal. The watch has a ton of complications rolled up in an elegant package powered by a Valjoux (I don't remember the precise Movement specs). To put it plain and simple I may be buying this watch in the next month or so but I wanted to check with the Hamilton crowd first before I jump into the deal. Here is a stock photo of the watch: Thanks guys!
FellasCan someone please post a pic of the original box for an SS Diver. Do you know if the box exterior or interior colour has ever changed?Putting all the pieces together. ...I may have found a scammmer. Cheers
Hey all,I just wanted to do a comparison of bph from different Omega Cal.'s and Rolex Cal.'s to cost (purchase and maintenance) over time. When I've gone to Omega's web page, I've seen movements other than the 2500 and 8500, that I'm not familiar with. Omega didn't list each movement's bph that I saw either. Is there a reference that anyone knows of that lists Omega Cal.'s and their respective bph's, service intervals, service costs? TIA
