Per forum rules, I'll make this clear. This is solely for educational value and any discussion (glamorization) of fake watches is frowned upon. I'll begin with what led me here....I have decided that the Milgauss GV is in fact my 'cup of tea' to celebrate my upcoming 40th. Unsure of where to begin, I began a week ago asking the experts: ScottD, JBHII and the Members here what to expect. Mainly on PM and calls around to AD's. I even joined TRF tonight, to read the endless information on my next Rolex. Tonight...to my horror, I google searched images and came up with these...No credit will be given to the website that posted these fake Milgauss GV pictures. The genuine were found on the big Auction site, sorry I can't remember who they belonged to.Undoubtedly, this watch will eventually begin to appear on the big Auction site where fly-by-night Jeweller Stores will box these up and glamorize all the photos you request. However not the WIS and us. We puchase from AD and reput
Ok like the title says. Why is that automatic or mechanicals chronograph's seem too time events faster then quartz chronographs, For example lets say you and a friend were at a auto race he was wearing a automatic chronograph and you were wearing a quartz. Ok so far so good as soon as the race starts you both start your chronographs but as soon as the first car crosses the finsh line his say's lets say 2minutes and 15 seconds but yours say's 2minutes and 20 seconds but don't forget your timing the same car at the same time. I understand that automatic and mechanical chronographs messure 1/5 second compared too 1/10 or 1/20th but I still don't understand.
I have long wanted to add a 55 to the collection. BBQ once said in every collection.. there is always room for a titanium Pam! The combination of a brown tobacco dial and fat sausage numbers are just great in a titanium case. Base is indeed ace... I like it!Here is a quick shot!
Correct me if I am wrong. Were the DJ and DD IIs a 36 dial with a larger case and bezel? Are the 40s larger dials? Thanks!
