Invicta 10808 wrist watches news:
O.K., this probably could be placed in the general category, but since it started because of my "ETA Quartz?" posting inquiring about the details of said movements, and with Hamilton watches in mind, I'm putting it here. If the moderator feels it should be moved, I will certainly defer to greater wisdom. That said, here's my diatribe...Most of the Hamilton quartz watches descriptions say "ETA Swiss Quartz", while other watch brand descriptions just say "Swiss Quartz". But, I think there are a lot of people out there, certainly anyone who frequents a watch site like this one, that would love to see more information about the quartz movements that are in the watches they are considering, or even some of the ones they own.Besides satisfying our interest in the mechanistic aspect of the watch, it really helps dispel some common misconceptions about quartz movements that have led to some our prejudices against them.Think about it. Five minutes after we start to hang with one another, som

Hello again everybody, this is my grandfather's probably marriage present around 1944 I think. We lost my granddad at his 95.th healthy age last summer at August and 4 months passed and today I firstly weared his all Gold OMEGA Seamaster Deville for first time. He was wearing this watch just 1 day every 2 weeks with costume at meetings till August since several years. And last year when I asked him if the watch was serviced or not and date of purchase he replied NEVER serviced and nobody knows date of purchase , but we guess that its his marriage present and he married in 1944, and keeped in box several years. It has its original plastic crystal glass and it has nearly no scratch at super condition as a never opened back never serviced and never polished, it has a shock look of %100 original condition without scratch or mistake. When I shake the watch I hear some metal sounds but it keeps time perfectly, I think that sounds are normal for a never serviced so old automatic watch. Wh
I'm looking to switch up from a ROO for my chrono beater and noticed pricing on used 5980's are pretty good for the steel models. I really like the blue dial and the slate dial (almost like this one more because of the black date wheel). Wondering what thoughts on the forum are for this....Back in 2012 I wasn't a fan of this piece and picked up a 15202 and 5712 instead....I just thought it was too fat and thick for a proper Nautilus. But a coworker got one and I'm interested in what the thoughts are on it now that it's no longer in production but really easy to find.
Got this lovely piece. Love it.
