Z serial LV-service question
I have never sent any watch I own for the "recommended" service. While I understand the considerable debate behind it, which is similar to the tastes great / less filling debate, my question is actually around Rolex's policy. I like my LV for two reasons: 1, the word Rolex is not etched around the internal case of the watch. 2, the face of the watch is not green, and is black. The new LVs are different. Green face and green bezel (or am I mistaken?), which is not my style. If I do decide to send it in to Rolex for service, am I taking a chance? My thought process is.....- Does Rolex still service this style of LV and are parts available for it. Mine does not need any visible parts; but, what if they damage the dial in the process? - If Rolex were to destroy some part in the process, what protections do I have? If not interetested in the green LV or the traditional black sub (yes, I do not like the traditional sub, and realize I am in the minority), then what? - I understand there are o

Omega 20th Speedie Pro Anniversary coming in too excited
Just found out I will be getting a 1989 20th Anniversary Speedmaster Pro soon. Tooo excited as it comes with the highly sought after 1450 bracelet and limited to 2000 production. Will post pictures up soon enough but tooooo excited . I think I've gone off the the wall with Speedies as this will be my 5th one in a month lol Have a great weekend TRF!

I've lusted after a Panerai for some time and have 'almost' decided on which one:Luminor (100% sure)Manual Wind (Was fairly keen on the 312 until I read about 'some' noisy rotor and 'some' poor timekeeping).44mm (7.5'' wrist) and a daily wearer.Sandwich Dial (90% sure)My questions are: Does the 590 have a sandwich dial?Is the p.5000 movement a good timekeeper/ proven and is it 'better' option than the PAM111 'exclusive' movement.I like the idea of an 8 day but prefer to have the sandwich - I think.Any advice gratefully received.I hope to join the 'Paneristi' club soon. What's next? - My Collection
For the first time since I began purchasing and collecting Rolex (2011), I can say that there is no single watch on my radar. My collection has evolved throughout the last 6 years to these 4 references.YG Daytona, WG Smurf, RG DD40 Olive dial, and 16710 Pepsi - 3186 movement.These 4 are here to stay. Not interested in moving any of them and feel my Rolex collection is perfect for me. Considering exploring other watch manufacturers for the first time.What one reference is my collection missing?
