Klarstein 10 watch winder box not turning
Hi everyone,A couple of years ago my wife bought me a Klarstein 10 watch winder box for XmasClassic Watch Winder Display Case - Holds 10 Watches - Klarstein.co.ukThere is the link for it to show what it is like, well recently we were having some work done in our room where i kept it so i switched it off and it was put away for three weeks. Once the work was done and i set it up again and it lights up but does not turn the platforms anymore. I know you are supposed to be able to access the internal batteries through the base thinking i could check inside it but i cannot find any way to get into it.Does any one have any knowledge on how to have a go at fixing one of these pleaseeeeeeeeeeee ??Take care, Bob.

Strap selection for vintage watches
Most vintage watches from the 1920's-1930's (especially Hamiltons) came on a tan (sometimes brown, black, or dark gray) pigskin strap. But some of my vintage watches just look "right" with the straps I've selected, and I can't imagine any other strap on them. Style, color, texture, stitching are all things to be considered, IMO. Chrono pusher fell off...
Hi guys,so last night I was timing some pasta with my RO chrono, when I suddenly noticed the reset pusher felt a bit loose.I inspected it, and noticed that it was indeed very loose. Trying to screw the lock back in, the pusher fell off! I was lucky it fell off on the kitchen table, and not on the road somewhere, as it's the WG model. Well anyway, I noticed the pusher seems to be fastened by force, and I pusher it back in and it said snap, and now it looks like it's secure again.Has this happened to any of you? Could it be over tightening of the lock screw pushing the push-buttons out of their sockets?It does seem secure now, and the little spring was intact, and I could see any sort of damage, but this thing did freak me out a bit... Would have been pretty expensive to loose the push-button.
