Introducing: The Montblanc 4810 Day-Date
Montblanc has released a new Day-Date as part of the 4810 Collection. The 4810 Day-Date is a more traditional addition to the line and is reminiscent of the classic Rolex Day Date. 1 OF 1 The watch features a 43.5 mm stainless-steel case and is 10.14 mm thick. The silvered guilloché dial has applied red-gold-plated Roman numerals, an arched aperture for the day at 12 o’clock, and the date aperture at 3 o’clock. As seen on the other 4810 models, the 4810 Day-Date features Regate-style, red-gold-plated hands. The movement used is the caliber MB 24.18 (a step up from the 4810 Automatic).The new 4810 Day-Date will retail for $2,785. This is the chronograph we have been waiting for from Cartier. The Rotonde de Cartier Chronograph is round, 40 mm in diameter, uses Cartier's great in-house caliber 1904-CH, and looks fantastic. 2 OF 4 When we reviewed the Calibre de Cartier Chronograph here, we agreed that though the merits of the excellent in-house chronograph movement were very real selling points, there was a lack of design cohesiveness throughout the piece ¨C?seen primarily on the dial. Here, the Rotonde de Cartier Chronograph provides us with a more balanced, traditional dial with the full Roman numeral treatment, silvered outer minute track, and Breguet hands. 3 OF 4 The 40 mm case is wonderfully balanced, and the rectangular pushers are incredibly subtle from the front of the case looking at the watch. Inside the Rotonde de Cartier Chronograph is the same great 1904-CH self-winding movement from the Calibre Chrono. Here though, it actually fills up more of the case than with the Calib

My AP trio...
Started in AP several years ago with a ROO RG rubberclad then added a 41mm RG RO on bracelet. Last year added the Ti Schumi, 44mm RG and let go of the RG rubberclad and 41mm RO. Just added the ROO RG bracelet a couple of weeks ago. I think this combination will stick for a while!

Rolex Service in Aus?
My new to me GMTc arrived a few days ago, has been loved and worn by the previous owner, it¡¯s a 2008 watch, and from what i can tell it hasn¡¯t been serviced. I¡¯m already pretty committed to taking it to an AD here in AUS, or the RSC itself in Sydney, just to get it serviced and checked over and start my journey with basically a like new watch. I know the service price is quite high, but i¡¯m willing to pay for it considering I want everything spot on and guaranteed perfect. This is pretty much a question for you Aus owners out there, do you think this is a good course of action, or do you have any recommendations in sydney that you think would do a equal if not better job for a lower price?If they can¡¯t compare in quality i¡¯m happy to hand over my money to the RSC.
