TAG Heuer CT511A.BA0564 wrist watches news:
The LGI operated watch collector survey that we discussed last month will very soon be coming to a close. We recommend that all collectors check it out and participate if they are interested in the results. LGI has agreed to share the survey findings with all the participants who qualify and take the survey. We think that is pretty cool. See our original post here for more details and a link to take the survey.
It's here. This is the first Ferrari branded Hublot timepiece to come out of the two brand's joint partnership. Unveiled in China, the watch called the Hublot Big Bang Chrono Tourbillon Ferrari is meant to celebrate the quizzically celebration-worthy 20th anniversary of the first Ferrari car sold in China. I don't even think the dealerships there knew about that.Limited to just 20 pieces the watch (ref. 308.QX.1110.HR.SCF11) will be offered in a 44mm wide all carbon fiber case with red tinted sapphire crystal. See the Ferrari logo as part of the chronograph subdial. The movement is the Hublot caliber 6300 column-wheel chronograph with tourbillon and power reserve. You can see the full tech specs below. Hublot considers this as a bit of a preview for a larger Ferrari watch collection from the brand that will debut at Baselworld 2012.Tech Specs from Hublot:BIG BANG CHRONO TOURBILLON FERRARI20th Anniversary of the First Ferrari in ChinaTechnical detailsReference 308.QX.1110.HR.SCF11Series
I guess this means the Seiko monster needs a new home.....I saw photos of this watch when it was released, in the J&A forum and really liked the look of it. It is the Seiko SRP043K2 - or 'spork' as it has been tagged. There are plenty of reviews for this watch online so I won't add too much to the discussion for now, except:- A 50hr power reserve- but no day of the week display- 200m WR- 4R15 movement - like the 7s26, no hacking or manual winding- Rubber strap is very comfortable. SS bracelet also available.- Very cool blue lume - bright but not sure if as long lasting as Monster. (Edit - pics accurate - it is definitely green...must be going colour blind in my old age.. )- 43mm dial with very clear and bright numbers. I also prefer the narrower bezel over the large one of the Monster. However, at least for now, the bezel is the tightest I have come across - not sure if this is normal but should loosen up a bit over time.- With such a large area of dial I kind of wish the crystal wa
I really didn't have this model of Frogman in mind when I started looking...Saw one at an AD and it gained favor....Saw one FSBO and couldn't pass it up! I sold a Valjoux 7750 (Philip) and bought this, and have money left over! Not much but Ihave some left overThis watch is FAT...It rides tall in the saddle and weighs in at 164 grams. If I had to be critical, it would be that the pushers for the chrono are split in two (see pic) so they are hard for me to push one without pushing the other....But who uses the chrono anyway right?
I just spent two days touring inside here....they confiscated my camera....well I surrendered it peacefully...I wish I could have shared photos with you of what I seen, but what I did see was fantastic.Best,Rob
