TAG Heuer TAG Heuer 16932 wrist watches news:
German watches enjoy a lot of appeal to many watch enthusiasts due to their quality and relatively high value for the price. No one can sum up the entirety of German watches in one bold statement, but overall, German watches are more dedicated toward usability and performance than the prestige that most Swiss watches go for.My favorite examples of German Watch makers of Glashutte, Sinn, Limes, and Temption. Each of these makers produces beautiful timepieces which are as much tools as they are works of art. Glashutte is the most prestigious of the above four being the only house-manufacture. This means they produce and develop their own movements as opposed to buying movements kits. However, house-manufactures are uncommon, and the watches they produce demand very high prices. Movements purchased from such as ETA are often higher quality that a house-movement.Sinn, Limes, and Temption each utilize movement kits, but make their own very high-quality cases. Often times these watch makers
Hi all, I am a first-time poster, but have been enjoying this site for some time now. I currently have in my collection my constant-companion SS Datejust 16030 that has been on my wrist almost every day for the 16+ years that we've been together (just a bit longer than my wife and I), and a recently acquired Tudor Prince Oysterdate that is gaining more and more wrist-time. I am considering customizing, if you will, the Tudor by adding Mercedes hands, sort of like the Ranger, and was wondering: 1. Where is the best place to buy the hands; 2. How to ensure that I get the correct hands for the movement.I really enjoy the Tudor. I just don't know too much about it other than it's heritage. It is a wee bit smaller than the DJ, but affords a more sporting look when I want to go more casual, which is why I want to explore changing out the hands. I've really admired the Original Explorer for some time, but enjoy my DJ just a little more, and the Tudor might fill in that want just a lit
Thanks for reading this thread! My name is Rob and i'm new on this forum, i live in The Netherlands and i'm interested in buying an Emergency. I looked around at the internet to find out more about the watch and looked around for prices. The normal selling price in my country is about 4700 euro. To my suprise i found a new Emergency on the internet sold by a dutch dealer for 3300 euro! It made me wondering why this offer was that low because in the last period i did not find such an offer. Yesterday i visited a dealer in my region to find out more, they told me the Emergency was no longer sold by Breitling, hearing my story she offered me the same watch for 3500 euro, the price on the watch was still 4725.- and she made me the offer within 5 minutes! I just asked her and told her about the internet offer i found. She made me the offer because of the model running out. What no one told me though is that the transmitter singnal is changed from 121.5 to sattelite. Could this be the real r
In all likelihood, my next watch will be the AP 15400 Blue faced boutique-only edition. I was in the NYC Boutique this weekend with the wife trying it on, and speaking with the sales associate. Even though I think that the boutique is my only option for buying, he tried to sell me on the benefits of it anyway. He noted the 5 year - instead of standard 2 year - warranty, as well as their concierge service. Obviously the 5 year warranty is awesome, but does anyone actually use the concierge service? Are there any other benefits other than the free swag I've seen posted here before?
I posted last week after making my purchase, and finally took delivery of my 116610LV last Friday - just in time for the weekend!I am beyond thrilled with this watch. It has so much wrist presence, and the emerald green bezel and dial are just downright elegant! Not to mention, learning the pedigree and history of the Submariner has made me love my watch even more. My wife and I enjoy scuba diving, so reading all of the stories about Rolex's impact on dive history really connects me with my Sub. I've definitely caught the bug, and would love to own another someday!Cheers,Hunt
