TAG Heuer Monaco Calibre 12

I was looking over old posts
and realized I never put up any photos of the dials I had referred to. Here they are as they were when I shipped them to Jesse. I'm excited to see how they look when I get them back. Both appear to have had moisture issues, but Jesse says they will/are clean nicely.The watch that belongs to the loose dial above is also getting the original hands cleaned up and put back on the watch. Omega made it look like new...too new for my taste.

My Lord Elgin mania continues
I won this Elgin with a 25 jewel Swiss movement a few days ago and just got. It had a horrible strap on it. The local jeweler down the street ordered me a nice leather strap with a gold buckle, but it won't be here for a few daysso I just left it with him and only got to snap this one picture. He is also going to polish the crystal and clean it up a bit for me. This one I won dirt cheap, so I'm doubly happy with it. The crystal has only a few scratches. and the case only has a few scratches and only minor dings as well. The case back is mintish.The dial and hands are in great shape with only a little crud on the edge of the dial (which you have to look to see). The movement winds and it ran accurately for the few hours it sat on my desk. I'll add photos when I get it back. Here's a pic of the previous Lord Elgin I won off the bay with a 25 jewel Swiss movement. This one is slightly larger, the hour markers and lugs are different as well.

Rotation of watches
For those of you who have more than one watch, how do you determine the rotation of your watches?

If you were me would you feel bad?
A few months ago I had sold my cousin a watch that he had is eye on, He had always liked it even though I did too but since he was a close family member I decided that he could have it. That being said he only works part time and was still in high school when I sold it to him, So I can understand that he does not work all the time. So today I was telling his mother my (aunt) that he owed me money for the watch. I did tell him to pay me back when he could but the thing is I was starting to wonder if he will ever pay me for the watch. I say that because he's always saying he has no money but always seem to have money when he goes out so you understand my anger. So to end this story short I told my aunt not for me not to forget to ask him for the money he owes me, But the thing is I now feel bad. So I'm I asking would you guy's feel bad if you were me.

Basel Releases on Breitling's New Website
Checking out the new Breitling website and you can find some of the new models to be released at Basel. Some of the highlights include a new Navitimer Chronograph in 41mm with a non in house movement and a three handed Navitimer in 38mm with non in house movement, a new sized Super Ocean Heritage II at 44mm with an in house (Tudor based) movement and a new Chronomat with a new bezel. True to his Georges Kern word all of the new model chronographs with in house movements have contrasting sundials while the non in house models do not.
