I picked up a Meridian just like the one you posted about a year or so ago with the 724 movement. I got it for $30, but is was described as in great shape/movement not working.The crystal just needs some polishing, the case and dial are great, but as I said, the movement doesn't workyou can't wind nor move the hands.Also, I noticed that the dial, which fits in the fixed bezel isn't flush as in your pictures.Screen Shot 2013-12-17 at 10.03.49 PM.jpgScreen Shot 2013-12-17 at 10.03.59 PM.jpgSo I have a couple of questions for you.1) I see in your photos, that there is a gasket. question about CL 888-2 / EL-18 movement?
I am curious to find out what the difference is between the CL 888 and CL 888-2 movement.I noticed on the EL website, they describe the EL-18 as being "based on Claro 888-2, self wind, 18 jewels"But Mr. Diffin�� (sarogem) describes the movement as the CLARO or Claro-888 (not CL888-2) And Mr. Elsener only refers to it as the movement "from SEMAG".
