OK, so as an offshoot of Boscoe's "How many is too many" thread, I started thinking what is the "perfect" collection? So I started to think about it..IMO, this would be the perfect watch collection. Mind you, while I think ideally (for me anyways) it would be 1 watch per category, it's probably unrealistic with a bunch of over-compulsive watch-addicts like us.. Found something special at my parents house....
I don't know how many of you will enjoy this, but i found this wind upclock at my parent's house from the 1940's. My great uncle picked itup in Germany while he was touring through Europe in WW2. It'scurrently not working. There is a very thin metal strip that ismissing a piece at the bottom that holds the weight and makes theminute tick. I'm hoping someone can suggest a place for me to getthis piece replaced and give this clock a well deserved tune-up. Itstill has it's original glass covering and I think with a goodpolishing, this will look very nice. Hope you all enjoy looking atthe pics! Let me know what you think.

So, no Skagens.
