TW Steel TW Steel 2607 wrist watches news:
Monaco's Horus watches represent the ultimate in rich people talking about rich watches. Pretty much that is only who they care about even marketing to. So consider me learning about these watches against their wishes almost! Maybe I am exaggerating, but brands like this have product launch parties on boats were only select people are invited. Let's put it this way, the brand's mascot is a falcon, and yes they have a real falcon. Only falconers needs apply to hang with the Horus watch crowd. The brand is new, and have a few interesting things. I want to share with you their Horus Ultramarinum (Marine) watches. Obviously meant to remind you of a luxury boat, the dial of the watch looks like the instrument panel of a fine ship, with the deck wood to boot.Actually all this pomp and circumstance a round the selling and unveiling of watches is a good thing. Horus founder Andre Grossman obviously knows how to put on an impressive show, and if you look at the Horus website, you can tell that
I have had my eye on this for ages as it just calls out to me, however I get the impression it was not and is not a popular watch and that the movement is not up to much? I understand it is a Tag cal 17 "Piggy back" chrono module but don't know if this is good, bad or neither? Can I ask for some feedback regarding the build quality, movement etc? It is not a cheap watch and retailed for ¡ê1,995 gbp ($2,900 usd) before it was recently discontinued. However I hardly ever see one posted on forums or mentioned, so what is wrong with it? Why is it so unpopular when IMO it is a very good looking retro style chrono from a top brand! Heres a pic, it's the auto version. I understand the manual is supposed to be a better movement but I really need a date! Many thanks. Oh, and is anyone selling one? !
Hello Omega Forum, When cleaning out some stuff with my fiances father I cam across a couple of watches. They are bnib without stickers because he has never worn a watch and these were clearly gifts. I was hoping somebody could help me out with what they are and possibly an approximate value. I hate asking for values but to be honest I havent seen anything like it especially bnib. First the speedmaster and then i have to get the pics of the deville later. Thanks!Alex
Do you think the Stainless Sky Dweller will become an iconic watch ? Or go the way of the Milgauss GV . At first a very hot model selling above MSRP now readily available in many markets for below MSRP
Probably going to pull the trigger soon on a 118239 or a 118206 either in addition to my 18038 or in lieu of it. Will be pre-owned. Price difference depending on the dial is about 25-30% for the platinum. I know this isn't an investment, but if I'm going into this arena, want to make sure I make a good buy.Love the fluted bezel on the WG, but love the subtle sheen of Plat. Anyone wanna share thoughts? Also, trying to do the Tahitian MOP. Is that popular?P.S. Does fluted bezel make watch look bigger on wrist? I can rock a 36 but I don't want to worry about it looking diminutive.
