TW Steel TW844 wrist watches news:
I was watching the news today and it said that in order for us to catch up to the earth's something or another, the atomic clock will be halted at midnight and then restarted a second later. They called it a "leap second".Has anyone else heard about this? It sure didn't get much play on the other news channels I watch.Happy New Year. We're off to 2 New Years Eve parties and they're black and white dress, so I'll be wearing my Daytona. It's below zero wind chill tonight. I love the cold weather.Steve R"How will you remember your 2008 leap second?Updated Wed. Dec. 31 2008 5:03 PM ETCTV.ca News StaffThe countdown in anticipation of the New Year will last a moment longer than in years past by one second to be exact. A "leap second" will be added to 2008, making it the longest year in more than a decade, thanks to the leap day that was already added back in February. There's no doubt that automatic winding units revolutionized the wristwatch. Several inventions, subsequent improvements, and even specific movements have had a vast influence on the industry. Take a look at the Valjoux 7750 series as a recent example - to say it's ubiquitous is an understatement! It was the first 360˚ rotor wristwatch caliber and spawned a new direction in the industry. Combined with Rolex's trademark water resistant Oyster cas
Can you determine the year of production of a Breitling from the model and the serial numbers?
Hello everyone,I'm new to these forums. Been reading from the outside in for about 2 weeks now (but very extensively) as I look to buy my first luxury wristwatch. It's a pretty exciting phase for me at the moment, graduating university in a few months with a full time contract in place for work, and now that I'm entering the business world I really want to look my best - so I decided to look into watches. Somehow I've become extremely fascinated in them with just ~20 hours of research and learning put into the subject.I've narrowed down my options to two models of the Omega Speedy Pro. They are 1) The typical NASA Approved 3570.50 or 2) 3573.50. I will also be getting an authentic Omega leather band with whichever one I end up purchasing, so that I can have both steel bracelet and leather strap to choose from. From what I understand, they are identical except that the 3573.50 has a sapphire crystal cover and bottom (which is transparent), meanwhile the 3570.50 has a Hesalite crystal on
