I received my first Hamilton today - Via e-bay. "Gave it a new strap and clean"
O.K., the question will make perfect sense to some, and seem gauche to others, but, why aren't dress watches illuminated in some way? I stick to all the aesthetic standards when it comes to dress watches (strap only, no chrono, small, thin (er)), and it dawned on mewhy are all the casual watches, which are more likely to be worn during the daytime, equipped with luminescent faces/hands, when dress watches, which are worn at least half the time at night, in darkened venues, do not?I have ONE dress watch, a Hamilton Ventura, 50th Anniversary LTD Ed, that has small inlays of lume on the hands. This is marginally useful in seeing it at night/in the dark, though the quantity and quality do not allow it to last very long.Anyone out there have true dress watches that glow?
No reason, just for fun......Cheers.
Hi All,I recently purchased a 114200 oyster perpetual with blue dial. It's a gorgeous watch and I'm loving it so far, however I've noticed that the clasp clicks when I press down on it. Obviously not a major issue but in my mind a 3.5k watch probably shouldn't be doing this! Here's a video of another person with the exact same issue:Hope someone can help.Thanks.
