I've only had a few German watches over the years; a Nomos, a couple of Junghans,
including an original 1962 Max Bill in NOS condition, a couple of Sinns, (A 756D and an 856S), but the new Glashutte Original Senator Chronometer is a Stunner! I can only wish this piece was available in SS, but the design of the movement, the dial, the timing accuracy, all indicate to me this company has Hit The Big Time, no pun intended. Anybody out there lucky enough to own one?

Deployment clasp issues... Why does it dig into my wrist?
My wrist is about 7.5. It takes the very last hole on the band to fit my wrist. So when I close the deployment, the watch is centered on my wrist but the deployment is not centeredIf my wrist were smaller, then the deployment would be centered where it should be.Any suggestions on how to make it comfy instead of digging into my wrist? Do I need to simply replace it? Might the band itself be too small? I dont mind spending to get a very comfy fit

Some might know me from here or other forum but at the end my landmark its been impulsive buying until now. It might be interesting for some and it might be boring for others but here it is. I always say Ignorance is a bliss and it reflects in various situations in life but in watches is even more evident. I went crazy and bought as many iconic watches from different as I could, but soon enough I discovered a few of things:1) The week has 7 days, and to truly enjoy your watches is better to have 3-4 watches that you truly love than 20 watches (sorry 19). Because of those many watches you will wear your favorites little or you end up not wearing a lot of them.2) As much as I want them to be all keepers, I flip them and when you flip you loose $$$$$. Isn't better to enjoy them and loose as little as possible ? hell yeah!! whats the Formula : Patek and Rolex.
