I don't know much about L2 yet, but their research seems to be along the same vein as that from the Digital Luxury Group (DLG) with their World Watch Report series (that I am a contributor for). Companies like L2 and DLG are primarily research and consulting firms which profit by providing advice and data to brands. This is NOT a typo ! ! ! ! !It's a 1924 Tiffany & Company Longines with a SWEEP SECOND HAND ! ! ! ! Having a SWEEP SECOND hand back in 1924 is EXTREMELY RARE ! ! ! ! !The sterling silver case serial number and the movement serial numbers are MATCHING ! ! ! !ALL ORIGINAL ! ! ! ! ! x-wind question
hi guys,This is my first post. I just recently bought an x-wind from an AD here in the Philippines, the black dial with the 2 silver sub dials with a rubber strap and I have a question. The reference number on the warranty booklet is H77616133. From the hamilton website, this model should have a steel bracelet. But, the watch I received has a rubber strap with the red stitching. With this type of dial, the rubber strap should have the white stitching. The model number of the watch with the red stitching is H77646833. I asked the AD about this and they said that they received the watch this way direct from the supplier. It seems to me that the strap has been replaced with the wrong one. This dial-strap combination does not exist in the hamilton website. Does anyone here have the same experience?The watch shop is an AD for many brands such as rolex, tag, longines and oris. It is one of the biggest watch stores in the country. My question is how can I have this corrected? What are my opti

Looking for suggestions on a new watch
I was hoping the members could help me out. I am considering a new watch purchase. Under 4K - New or used. I already have a Breitling (Bently 6.75), Rolex (GMT II & DJ), Omega (Seamaster), Chronoswiss (Lunar Triple), Panerai (PAM 111). Everything is in SS. My thoughts were Cartier, Baume & Mercier, Zenith, Bell. Anyone have any other thoughts. Links would be appreciated. Are there any up and coming brands that are well built and possess a good value? I was leaning towards a rectangular face since everything I have is round.
