Fourteen watchmaking companies and four schools will participate in the 2011 International Chronometry Contest. The winners will be announced on October 20 at Chateau des Monts ¨C Horological Museum of Le Locle. Find complete details and a list of entrants inside. The first officially-sanctioned timekeeping competition in 37 years was held in 2009 when 16 timepieces were entered in a single category, each competing against the others. For 2011, the competition has been modified with the contestants divided into three groups: traditional movements, tourbillons, and watchmaking schools.During the competition, the timepieces are subjected to a variety of tests that are based on international standards, and that are much more rigorous than the well-known Official Swiss Control of Chronometers (COSC) tests. Bought this off The Bay for $106 and change. This is my second Zodiac, my first was an impulse buy from Costco. I loved the first, but have had a real hard time finding an AD in my area (Phoenix) with any selection at all, to purchase any more. This is my first watch purchase from Ebay, my transaction was great, watch was exactly as described, no prob. I really wanted an auto but got outbid on a vintage piece, so went for this. This is as good as brand new. It still had the plastic and blue on the bracelet. It's a diver with the trad diver clasp + the diver extension. Fit and finish is Awesome!!! Oceanus in Chicago
1st post, so I hope this is in the right spot...Does anyone know where I can find an Oceanus dealer in the Chicago area? The Oceanus website didn't help me one dealer no longer sells them and the other only had 2 models.I've already done my homework online, and I'm on the verge of buying the m800. I only wish I could try it on my wrist and compare other models before sinking the cash.Many thanks

After lurking on this forum for ages, I finally took the plunge to register! A small introduction if I may? I'm an Englishman who left my home country almost 10 years ago to follow the dream in the US. After living in Chicago and Louisville, I now find myself just a shade south of Nashville. A long time watch lover, I own several Rollie's, a couple of Panerai and some Breitlings. Only having lived here for a few months, I've only been able to find a couple of PP dealers in the whole state. So, if anyone on here knows any others or a good, reputable used dealer, that would be great. I've always kept a side watch fund account, but have not touched it for a couple of years, and now really am into a PP or AP. One local dealer has a 5146J, which I adore, but even though it's new, it looks like it's been tried on by half of TN! Do you think that matters? Or am I just being stupid about wanting a sealed one? Furthermore, I've really enjoyed the hunt and am nervous of reaching its conclusion!!
