Having grown up near Toronto and now residing in Vancouver, I was thrilled to hear that Jaeger-LeCoultre would be gracing both of these fine Canadian cities with their own boutiques. These boutiques are Jaeger-LeCoultre's first in Canada and, for watch fans that frequent either city, the addition is nothing short of exciting, as boutiques generally offer a wider selection and better access to special models than an authorized dealer might be able to provide. The dial details of the pink gold Jaeger-LeCoultre Geophysic Universal TimeWhile Vancouver, Toronto, and Montreal have access to Jaeger-LeCoultre via authorized dealers, these new brand boutiques boast key locations that should connect well with each city. As Toronto is a mall-heavy city (for you foreigners, it's a rather large and sprawling city), the Toronto Jaeger-LeCoultre boutique is located in the Yorkdale shopping center alongside many other watch retailers. The Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Grande Tradition Tourbillon Cylindrique ¨¤
2012 saw the introduction of Patek Philippe's new in-house perpetual calendar with split- seconds chronograph - the reference 5204.? Just got a call from a U.S. AD I had put my name down with back in October. They just today got in a 5711 blue dial, if anyone's interested just PM me.
Hello,I see that when you send a watch into Patek for servicing they offer 'case refurbishing' for a pretty reasonable additional fee. Can anyone tell me to what extent they will clean up a fairly deep ding in a stainless case as part of this service or would that be considered additional work. I would also be curious if the perceived value of the watch would be lowered after a case refurbishing (in a similar way that an unpolished watch is worth more in the resale market). Thanks
Having given up trying to get a new SS Daytona from an AD, I've decided to go the Grey route.Which do you think is a better buy for the long term? A newish black dial 116500LN or a 10 year old black dial that has been serviced at RSC?The difference in cost between the two is around ¡ê3,500 (UK).The plan is to keep it for 10 years and then give it to my son. In the mean I will wear the hell out of it.Thanks
