- This watch was a great purchase regarding its original price and what I paid . It's s also made well and has star power. However, my wrists aren't large and the watch itself is so so I sold it to a friend with larger wrists and he loves it.

Technomarine 208018 wrist watches news:
With another season of HBO’s medieval fantasy drama “Game of Thrones” currently airing, it seems an appropriate time to revisit a timepiece from Roger Dubuis‘s flagship Excalibur collection, the Roger Dubuis Excalibur Round Table, a limited-edition model distinguished by its 12 sculptural “knights” stationed at each hour marker.Introduced at SIHH 2013 in Geneva, the watch depicts a scene from the legend of King Arthur and his Knights of the Round Table, the inspiration for the Excalibur family. Its colorful dial, whose design comes from a reproduction of the Arthurian Round Table made for King Henry VIII and placed in the Grand Hall of his castle in Winchester, is made of grand feu enamel. Arranged in a circle around the “table,” replacing each of the traditional hour markers, are 12 three-dimensional knight figures, cast in gold, with their fine details carved by hand, each only 7 mm tall (as in, small enough to fit under a shirt cuff).
Last October at Wind-Up: NYC, I got a sneak peek at a prototype watch by Gavox that was very exciting. As you might recall, last time we discussed Gavox, who are a small brand with fairly bold ambitions, they had redefined the quartz pilot with their Aurora watch. One of the first watches to use a Soprod Mecatronic movement, it took an analog aviator design and gave it the functionality of a digital watch with an impressive array of complications. Their newest watch continues their pursuit of original variations on the pilot with a mechanical concept that is meant to excel above and below land; the Avidiver. At a glance, the Avidiver appears to be a dual crown aviator watch, presumably with an internal bezel. However, the second crown doesna€?t control the bezel, but rather the bright orange triangle seen at 12. By positioning the triangle at various points across the dial, one can set a second time zone (such as with a Zulu bezel), or track their elapsed time (as with a typical dive be

so I came across a Doxa model that I really want to get, or at least I think I want to get. The Aquaman, it's really appealing, I like the case size, and the dimensions, and also the fact that it's a entry level Doxa, I do know it's quartz and I do realize that alot of Doxa collectors will look down on the model, and or shun it. I did read some things on it, I guess you can only get them in Europe, mainly Romania, and the surrounding countries. I tried to find some on the bay and I was able too, some are on a rubber strap, and some are on a steel bracelet, I was wondering it doesn't look like from the pics that you can change the straps out, does anyone know if you can indeed? Also does any member here have one? and or any first hand experince with owning one.
Recently someone posted that the sales forum seems to be overrun by watch businesses leaving the person who might sell one or two watches a year left out in the cold. The poster mentioned that he was reluctant to go there because of a full page of Invicta sales, etc. I just went there and noticed an almost full page of watch/watch related dealers. I kind of wonder if two sales forums would be better; one for the watch/watch related dealers and one for the non dealer who wants to sell a watch. Just a thought to throw out.
