Patek Philippe 5131G wrist watches news:
This is probably the nicest Daniel Roth watch I know of, which is saying a lot since Daniel Roth watches are usually REALLY NICE. No, it isn't the fanciest, or most complex watch - and to a large degree the watch is a total contradiction. For example, the name "Chronosprint" makes you think of measuring quick short times, when in reality, it is just the opposite with this self described chronograph for measuring longer measurements of time (because it does not count the seconds). Only hours and minutes are measures in the subsidiary dial with two hands that replicates the chronograph look of some modern Patek Philippe chronograph watches, along with a few other makes. The dial that looks like a smaller watch face has one hand to measure minutes (60), and another to measure hours (12). Daniel Roth describes this complication as a ¡°simple but effective¡± feature of the watch. The movement is exclusive to this Endurer Chronosprint, and is the DR 1306 automatic mechanical calibre. Before I press the button on this watch I would like to search for similar ones:Does anyone know the movement, it has 33 Jewels.
Hi I am hoping to get some input as regards to this watches' details. Please see picture below. Is this authentic as per SN k805k2? I notice most of the stock of the seller at the 'bay are brand new. Anyone can give some information on this watch. How would you know if one is real Seiko, is there a listing of Seiko watches manufactured that we can refer to? Thanks so much.R
How come? Would you consider Stowa a German or Swiss watch?
I've recently acquired a very nice 1861-powered 3570.50 from TZ UK. It's a lovely example, but I was hoping to get an accurate year of manufacture. The serial is 7718**** - I've tried emailing Omega and have used their archive function on the website to no avail. Does anyone have any similar serial coded Speedys for reference/comparison (I'm guessing mid-2000s, but I'd really like to single it down to a year). TIA...
