Tissot T0694174403100 wrist watches news:
Like most of us, I sold a few, and bought a few this year...here's the "ins" and "outs" of my collection. The Dearly Departed:Here are the first one which got sold this year:As much as I wanted to like and wear the classic Navitimer, it just wasn't seeing any wrist time. So this watch, which I got in late 2007, was one of the first I sold in 2008. A couple of months later I sold these two:The Bond just wasn't getting wrist time, so that was an easy choice. My Sea-Dweller thought had been with me for a long time....at least five years, so it was much harder to sell. I still think it's one of the greatest watches ever made, but I rarely wore it to the office (with a suit) so it began being harder and harder to justify to keep....particularly when an opportunity to buy one of the below came up....The New Additions:My local AD called me in June and gave me the opportunity to buy this M series 16710 GMT - it was one of the ultra-rare models with the stick II dials and the new 3186 moveme
I found this Hamilton Seckron a few days ago. it arrived in the post yesterdayits a little work of art, actually better than the pics. this is my first purchase of a vintage hamilton,so I thought I would share. I did a little research on the original owner. turns out he was a doctor in the 30's and 40's, wrote a few articles during that period. cool little piece of history. you just cant find character like this in contemporary timepieces.
Hi, I own a Longines Master Collection moon phases and got an Orbita Sparta winder. Since it seems that Longines has a movement that winds clockwise and Orbita Sparta has two adjusts (10 or 15m), I wonder if anyone tried using with the 15m set instead of the standard 10m of the winder. BTW, Orbita says that 15m is for bi-directional watches...that's why my question and curiosity.Thank you in advance.
Hey all,Just wondering if any PP owners wear theirs for everyday use? Ie: work, gym, etc...Thanks for reading, Hans.
Well the watch bug has bitten me big time! I'm eyeballing one of these 2 TT Daytonas. Which do you guys like more bc I'm 50/50. I like the Panda a hair more but I have the 116500 white dial and the Panda is a little similar. Any thoughts and opinions appreciated..... BUT I LOVE blue.Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
