Tissot T0954101105700 wrist watches news:
On May 10 at Geneva’s Beau-Rivage Hotel, Sotheby’s will offer vintage and modern collectible timepieces including Patek Philippe Refs. 5959P and 2499 (fourth series), and a historically important gold, enamel and diamond presentation pocket watch most likely made for King Ludwig II of Bavaria circa 1880.
Do you think it's a good idea to trade in 2 Rolexes, my daily 2-tone DJ2 and a vintage 1630 (Oysterquartz case with automatic 1570 movement), for a 6- month old H-serial 15202ST blue dial jumbo (AP at 12 o'clock)? Do you think the trade (with some top-up of course) is worthwhile when considering daily wearability and value-keeping sake? Also, with the same amount of money, do you think a 15202 is a better choice than an ROO, eg. Diver, RC or Black/Panda/Safari Theme? Currently I notice I reach out for my white-dial ROC almost 80% of the time.I've already had some opinions from friends and would like to gather more of yours! Much appreciated!
Does anyone know what year/what serial number they started imprinting these anti-counterfeit logos for the Speedy Pro? I tried googling and searching on rolex forums and wus but found no luck. I know they started imprinting logos on Seamasters back in 2005 but no information can be found on the Speedy Pro. Any information will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
I am surprised to find that no one has posted about the release of the special run of the 5070, 5970, 3940 for the London Exhibition. All with Lemania based movements and limited to 5 pieces per reference.or the London Monuments edition Calatrava limited to 10 pieces. A great set of special editions for the greatest city in the world.
Hey guys,After following this forum for years, I finally bought my first Rolex. It is a beautiful Rolex Submariner. It was always between the GMT IIc and the Submariner and finally I decided on the Sub.I bought the watch from an AD locally. He tried to size the watch yesterday but it has been sized well enough. I need to go get it fixed today. While looking at the watch this morning, I saw a small dent on the lug. On the face, it seems prominent and I am considering going back to the AD to have him fix it for me. I know the watch will go through its own set of scratches but I did not expect it to come with a dent after paying a hefty sum for it. I am guessing the person trying to size it yesterday made the mark while using the screwdriver. Some pics below of the scratch. Let me know what you guys think.
