Bedat & Co 768.020.630 wrist watches news:
The first limited edition watch created as a partnership between Indy Car driver Tony Kanaan and Luminox was such a success that less than a year later another is already out. Instead of just being a watch with a famous racer's name on it, Kanaan (being a major watch lover), and Luminox worked really closely together on the design. While Tony could have easily worked with a number of higher-end brands, he really wanted to make sure that his friends could afford the watch with his name on it. His friends were working with brands like Audemars Piguet - and while they created some beautiful timepieces, they didn't make a lot of sense for? the fans with prices around $70,000.Luminox was a great partner for Tony to create a watch, and Tony was a good fit for Luminox because he is just a very personable, and friendly guy. I had a nice meeting with Mr. Kanaan to discuss the watch, the partnership, and what the future will hold for the two. Tony was very proud to show off a very cool timepiece
My wife and I are going to Vegas this weekend. They have all those great watch stores at Wynn, Mirage, Bellagio, etc. I thought it would be fun, and maybe profitable, to check out a couple of pawn shops. Anyone know of any "upscale" pawn shops that might be a good watch source.
Hello everybody! My 1st post here.I was wondering whether anyone has experience with ADs in NYC? (primarily Manhattan). Hamilton website produces a long list, but it would be cool to hear some personal impressions. I have never been to an authorized watch dealer before, tbh I bought my first watch online directly from the manufacturer. Would they have a full (or almost full) range of models to look at? Do they strictly sell at MSRP or are discounts available? Any specific questions I should ask them? I am looking at a 40mm Jazzmaster Viewmatic Auto, btw the MSRP is $625-675 depending on whether it is on a strap/bracelet, and discounts of around $200 are available from online dealers. How much over online price is considered "normal" for the convenience/manufacturer warranty? I'd like to handle the watch in person before buying, and I understand that running an actual store means they won't sell as cheap as online. On the other hand, I don't want to pay full MSRP if could j
For all our European members:Has Jacques Lemans' sponsorship of F-1 racing raised the brand profile in Europe? The image/popularity here in the US is slowly on the rise due, mainly, to TV shopping channel sales. However, I find the brand incredibly solid with good fit and finish, especially on its Geneve line, and very good value for money.I'm wearing this today, one of my faves, which made me ask the question.
Fell in love with this piece while on vacation in St. Thomas. The new Breitling Galactic 41 in tomcat grey. Killer looks, cosc spec chronometer, polished, big date, super lume. Running within 3 secs per day this is the dress piece I lacked and now with the leather straps that Breitling is giving with a purchase, the black leather will really set this piece off.If you are in St. Thomas, visit the Breitling boutique and speak to Robert or Clyde, they will take good care of you.
