Tissot T71.3.459.34 wrist watches news:
Breitling's most iconic and famous model is the Navitimer. I've reviewed the Navitimer 01, which included for the first time the in-house manufacture Calibre 01 movement. For 2014, Breitling makes two small, but important, changes to the already legendary model. First, the Navitimer gets an extra large version. The 46 mm cased model results in a larger timepiece that allows it to be more wearable over a pilot's jacket and in keeping with some modern wristwatch tastes and trends. Also, the Navitimer 46mm now includes a transparent case back to showcase the Calibre 01 movement. A limited edition of 200 pieces is also available in red gold.Second, the Navitimer GMT manages to add a 24 hours second timezone while retaining the patented instrument-inspired busy dial that makes the Navitimer so unique. The additional texts for the 24 hours indices barely intrude on the busy dial; an additional red arrow hand gives quick indication of the hometime at a glance. The GMT model comes in at a hefty 4
I wish this watch was about 20% larger. The Tuxedo is a great looking watch, but for me it is sadly just too small to wear. Another great 14K case by Solidarity.
Excuse me if this has been asked before but, Do you really use your chronograph for anything other then looking cool on your wrist? If you do use it what for?Sometimes for a giggle when I'm driving down the highway and there are test mile markers I'll use mine to test the acuracy of the speedo on my trusty Subaru or my TR6 (which is off by a couple of miles).Does anyone make a chronograph that calculates furlongs per fortnight? = 1.663¡Á10-4 metres per second
A nice Patek dual-chrono perpetual calendar pocket watch on Antiques Roadshow. This is a fun one to watch.
This one takes the cake for what possibly is the saddest collection of Rolex I have ever seen at an AD. There was a Milgauss and white dial Exp II. They only had a few DDs, 2 TT Daytonas, 2 YG Daytonas and the rest were pretty much just Datejusts. I get that there is an SS shortage, but this AD was notably missing a lot of PM sports models and even selection for DDs.I'm comparison, at my home AD on Thursday, they had a lot of SS sports models minus LV, BLNR, SD43, D-Blue and DaytonaC. But they also had pretty much every other PM sport Rolex available (BLRO, Smurf, etc.) and a huge selection of DDs.
