So being a WIS and an avid golfer, I always enjoy seeing the different players and their watches on both the PGA/Euro tours. Recently I was watching coverage of one of the PGA tour events where Sir Nick Faldo was commentating. To my surprise however, Sir Nick was NOT wearing and AP! I tried hard to look closer and it appeared to be a blacked out Blancpain Fifty Fathoms (Dark Knight perhaps?) but I can't be sure. So I looked on AP's website and Sir Nick is not listed on there anymore as an ambassador! Anybody know the scoop here??

well this is an interesting way for me end the year..... I'm on a wait list for a Sub C which is awesome, they told me it should be here with in 3-4 months this was a month ago.but I have a problem now, a mint box and papers Day Date 18238 yellow gold/champagne dial came up for sale from a friend of a friend. He wants 15k Canadian.... If I buy the DD I won't be able to get the Sub... I'm really stuck the DayDate is a grail watch of mine, I always said when I retire I'll get one. My question is:Let��s say hypothetically you had 15k to spend on a watch. Would you buy a used watch or go to an AD? Would you buy the 118238 DD or a new SUB ? I mean I have never been to an AD and may be taking a trip there tomorrow. What can you get from an AD for 15k?Thank you in advanceJohn
