A great show were we discuss Hublot's Magic Gold, the allure of the new and vintage Omega Ploprof, and all the good stuff you can't afford in the A. Lange & Sohne Datograph Up/Down German super watch.Listen to the HourTime Show watch podcast episode 90 here.Download the MP3.
Here is their new "white shark" UR - 202 watch , based on the Hammerhead UR-203 shows that I discussed here. UR-202 and UR-203 watches are among my favorites in terms of design and utility of Urwerk. I believe that this shrink to say both grand, rod system all based on a model of "satellite" of Urwerk in the indication of the time system.
I've been looking at Constellations for weeks. I've also almost literally accomplished no work in the last 24 hours. So I've reached the point where obvious flaws might be becoming less obvious to me and my eyes may soon fall out from staring at a computer screen too long. The watch in question here: OMEGA CONSTELLATION AUTOMATIC GOLD AND STEEL VINTAGE MEN WATCH I once owned a cal 712 constellation that I ended up sending back because there were too many questionable facets of the watches construction . I would very much like to own another 712 if the members of this forum think this one is legit. I'm most concerned with the dial. It shows some age so I'd really like to believe it isn't a redo (if it is its also probably a pretty good one).It also seems to actually reconcile pretty well with whats on the vintage database: OMEGA Watches: Vintage Watches DatabaseI look forward to hearing from the good men of this forum and learning whether to pull the trigger on this one or purchase a ne
Hi,a friend, who can't speak English, asked me to post here. He has an English pocket watch movement from Kemp and Wilcox. Fact: there is no winding stem sticking out of the movement, nor is there a hole for the winding stem. Instead there is a gear on the movement. So he needs a case with a gear, which engages the movement's gear. Does anybody know, what I am talking about? Does anybody have such a watch? What my friend is looking for is, aside from the actual case, the right English word. How is such a case called in English? Knowing the names of things often helps in finding them in the internet, on ebay, etc. Would be great, if anyone could answer. I owe him, so I would be pleased to help him :-)Cheers,Marco
Did anyone catch this show last night?Teddy was standing on the edge of a pool and said that he was going to jump in with his Armani suit and his IWC watch.I would love to know what model.(WOW! 350th post! )
