I've only had a few German watches over the years; a Nomos, a couple of Junghans,
including an original 1962 Max Bill in NOS condition, a couple of Sinns, (A 756D and an 856S), but the new Glashutte Original Senator Chronometer is a Stunner! I can only wish this piece was available in SS, but the design of the movement, the dial, the timing accuracy, all indicate to me this company has Hit The Big Time, no pun intended. Anybody out there lucky enough to own one?

Choices, choices: (apologies to Robert Frost)?Two watches diverged in a yellow mood,And sorry I could not buy them bothAnd be a one watchowner, long I stoodAnd looked down at one as far as I couldTo where it bent in the showcase lightThen took the other, as just as fair,And having perhaps the better claimBecause it was brassy and wanted wear,Though as for that the passing thereHad worn them really about the same...?I have a chance for the 3570.50 authentic moon watch or the 3573.50 sapphire sandwich. Leaning strongly toward the latter for the sapphires, display back, and enhanced movement finishing. The cost difference isn't a real problem.....Decision pending this weekend.....or a Yogi Berra said, when you come to a fork in the road, take it and buy them both. But they're too similar for that, I think.

Although not the blue dial that I originally put my name on, I still love it and super happy that I got it. Here are some pictures.Watch is not sized yet, plus I am at work. So I can't put it on. It is sitting beautifully next to the D-blue that I am wearing today.
