Interchanging PO strap/bracelet
Hi folks I think this may be my first post here! If so, Hello, and thanks for this awesome community and your advice.Just a minor query which I know you will likely roll your eyes at.. However I recently bought the gorgeous 2011/2012 45.5mm PO 8500cal on the SS bracelet, but also thought it looks quite cool on the rubber strap with the orange stitching (I have the orange numeral variant).So, I've asked the AD to order in the rubber strap & clasp, and she said they would fit it for me free of charge (naturally after the amount I'm spending with them!), *however*, what I would like to know is how easy it is to interchange the strap/bracelet if I want to?I can see the strap is juts held on by a tension pin in the lugs.. But I understand it's pretty aggressive; what tool(s) are recommended?What I DON'T want to do is break or scratch anything.. Ultimately I would probably interchange the straps once every 6months or so.. So the AD would probably just do it; but if they started charging,

Affordable simple dress watch similar to Stowa
I am looking for a watch similar to a Stowa Flieger, but under $300 preferably.I love the simple and classic look of the stowa airman watches, but unfortunately i cannot afford one at the moment (or anytime in the near future) and would like some recommendations of similar looking watches. Hello All,I hope this post will not end up being controversial as it is not designed to be.I used to own a non-watch collecting forum for a while (which sold - naming no names if that is ok) and was a moderator on a couple of others. One fun thing we did occasionally was a Missing In Action thread in the public or general talk forum. This was basically aimed at posters that had just disappeared, who were once valuable members of the community. We found a few would come back and say "hello" (as often they still lurked and read posts without logging in). Some even came back full time and made the place busier and more enjoyable as a result.This is my favourite watch forum. It's where I learned the most and came to first. 44mm RG or Pt weights?
Can someone with a grams scale please throw their 44mm RG or 44mm Pt on and lmk the grams please?I just read the smaller RGRC actually weighs more than the 44mm due to the sold case back, deployment buckle and RG bezel that's rubber coated.Would also love to know the weight of the 44mm Platty version too!Thanks all!
