Tudor 79260 wrist watches news:
Hello, it's been a while, a long while with other things in life. Still love watches just been busy. So here is the situation, I have (2) subs 16610 & 16613 and an ExpII. All purchased in 1995, yeah, big watch year for me. So a co-worker of my wife decides to pick a new 116610 for her 10 anniversary gift from her employer (yeah, they get a Rolex at 10 years). She got it to sell it, she does not like watches. So, I have a 10 yr old 11610 in MINT condition, do I sell it and get the 116610? Since I have been out of the market for years I am not sure if this makes sense. She is willing to sell it to me for $6800-7000 US. retail is $8500, so about 20% off. The warrenty is in her name 5/2015. I have the watch in my safe, it's unworn. What's the current street for a F 16610 in mint contition with all the paperwork? Thanks guys.
My father bought this watch in the '40's and I've had it for the last 35 years or so. It's a steel cased watch about 43 cm diameter. I've kept it in a box and only looked at it occasionally, never carried or used it. A few weeks ago I pulled it out and popped open the case. It's got a 1941 serial number (616XXXX) and the inscription "15 Jewels 5 Adj." on the movement. It also has the inscriptions "21486" and "162" stamped on the inside of the case back. Also stamped are the numbers "62" and "2".Does anyone know what these numbers stamped on the case mean? Thanks.
For those of you from Minnesota, you'll know Denny Hecker as the new/used car magnate. He's also had some recent, ahem, legal "issues".Anyway, his stuff is being auctioned off per his bankruptcy. Some very nice watches in his collection, heavy on Rolexes.Anyone can bid, online:Fred W. Radde & Sons, Inc.I have my eye on a couple, but big deal, I don't have the money to pay for them anyway
Saw a lot of Nautilus posts lately so I want to share with you my collection. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
