U-Boat 2060 wrist watches news:
I wouldn't have believed it unless I saw it with my own eyes, but would you guess that Breitling - the company with its own jet team (and jet man) - is releasing a new pilot watch for 2015? I know, amazing and totally unexpected! All jesting aside, the new Breitling Chronoliner is a really decent-looking and not top-of-the-line-priced aviator watch that harkens back to the beauty and grace of Breitling's 1950s and 1960s design. It even comes complete with a "panda dial," so I think the Breitling Chronoliner is going to be a hit for the brand this year.At "just" 46mm wide, the polished steel-cased Breitling Chronoliner is a typical size for the brand these days. In my opinion, with its modestly-sized lugs and lack of crown guard, the Breitling Chronoliner ought to wear boldly but comfortably. Given Breitling's current style and demographic, 46mm in case diameter seems to be their sweet spot. And here, it is mixed with a vintage-style case complete with plunger chronograph pushers. What
One of the most notoriously difficult to find German watch brands is Damasko. They tend to make cool, high-function tool watches for a fair price. If you are a fan of Sinn, you'll also like Damasko - and it goes without saying that Damasko's designs are highly inspired by Sinn timepieces (which are also less than ironically hard to find). If I could give some advice to Sinn and Damasko it would be to understand that pieces such as this would do much better in America if anyone in the US could ever find them. Let's talk distribution people! Sometimes I don't understand how these businesses operate without basic notions of doing business outside of Europe. But I digress!New for Damasko is a model called the DA44 which will come in both a 42mm wide bead-blasted steel case and a black-coated steel case. This is when it starts to get interesting. The steel they use is one of those very hard materials that they claim is ice-hardened and nickel-free. It goes through a range of hardening techni
I just saw this film on youtube.https://.youtube/watch?v=_y0y_XeS0fMWith the five scenes in the film, I can identify China, Japan, the US and the UK. The first scene is more difficult to identify - perhaps Switzerland, Italy or France?
Bam!Just one of the many pieces on sale at the IWJG show in Brooklyn today. Will probably drop by again tomorrow. Review from Hodinkee here back when it was released in Basel last year:.hodinkee/blog/patek-p...here-live-pics
