Saw a U-Boat at the beach this week
This week, while at a restaurant on the beach, I saw a man wearing a U-Boat wrist watch. I'd never seen a U-Boat in the wild before and was quite struck by it's size and appearance. Looking at photos of U-Boats in the past have never impressed me, not at all, but this one had me mesmerized. I have never been a fan of HUGE watches, but this U-Boat, despite it's size, just seemed ¡ ummm ¡ right. Not sure which of the U-Boat models it was, but it looked like something from their Classico series. The watch had a beige face and a black leather band, and was very large. I'm not sure, but I suspect it was this one:Amazon: U-Boat Men's 5571 Classico Watch: U-Boat: WatchesVery simple and plain, but very striking and stunning in its simplicity.It's really got me thinking about getting one for myself, but I'm going to give it a few days to see if the fever passes.I noticed, by the way, that the same U-Boat Classico referenced above (5571, which is a 53mm watch) is also available in a 45mm v
