This video that was made to illustrate the partnership between Melges yachts and Cuervo y Sobrinos feels like a beer commercial from the early 1990s. I wonder what brew is enjoyed on deck during a high energy yacht regatta race on a speedy Melges 32? Sounds like Swiss owned, Cuban inspired Cuervo y Sobrinos should team up with Jose Cuervo - and dream up a new Latin lager. Mmm.. frosty. Is drinking while boat racing a good idea? I just see the boat - loaded with guys in identical outfits - running around trying to pull ropes with one hand, and their beers fly out of their other hand overboard.? After the race is over everyone kicks back a few more Cuervo Latin Lagers (that actually has a good ring to it), and passes out on the deck. Sounds like an upscale Corona ad. I should go into marketing.In honor of Cuervo y Sobrinos' partnership with Melges, and the sponsorship of their Melges 32 racing vessel, they have created a new limited edition version of their Robusto Buceador Carbon watch.

All,I am new to the forum and I have been lurking for a few months. A few days ago I acquired a previously loved blue Seamaster chronograph (2599.80) from a member through the "For Sale" forum. The transaction went very smooth with great communication and shipping. I want to thank 303andrewp for the beautiful SMP. I have included some images of the watch and the "wrist shot". Decision time again - HELP...
I've found a dealer very close to me that sells Seiko's - his prices are absolutely brilliant (just bought a watch from him yesterday)...Now, he has 3 Seiko's that I like, but cannot make up my mind which one I should possibly go for. Arrgh! I hate this!
Time for another mini-rant - and we're not talking pirates here.I wear a dress shirt (long sleeve) every day. I have several that have cuffs too narrow to allow you to wear anything other than a super-slim watch. Otherwise, you can't button the cuff! Happened today - again - and it's really annoying. I'm wearing a moderate "normal" size watch with an ETA 2832, so we're not talking thick.Yes, I could've changed my shirt - or my watch - but I was too rushed. Now I have an open cuff. Fortunately, this particular shirt has an extra button in the "cuff slit" that keeps it from flapping around.Thanks for letting me rave away.
