- This watch is rated as water resistant to 350 ft. Opps. I went swimming in my pool and it fogged up (leaked) inside. The pool is 5 ft deep. It's heavy and and feels uncomfortable to wear. Also it's hard to read the time.

U Boat 50 CAB W wrist watches news:
I wonder effect what everyone thinks the new enamel speedy will have on the speedy pro. With virtually the same styling, a date, and a larger case do you think sales of the pro will drop or will people stay loyal? How does everyone think they compare? I for one like it but am still looking forward to my pro purchase.
I've been looking for some info on quartz chronographs. I have been told that running the chronograph all the time can drain the battery much quicker but I've also been told that the worst thing for a watch is to not run it. Should the chronograph be run on a regular basis and how often would be good for the movement?
With lots of non-Risti stuff as well!!Here is the shirt Sam (Paneristi.com) made for the group at the January GTG. Table shot with the sign that Wade made at the 1st event as well. JWon and Sam keeping it with added siggies for the next event. A lot of the Seattle Ristis couldn't make it This second time and many of the Vancouver peeps were busy with family and newborns (Congrats Nelson!) this long weekend. We need a quick reference for commonly used watch abbreviations and terms. New members are joining us every day, and as veterans we sling the terms around like it's our native tongue. I'm not talking about every day internet things like IMHO, AFAIK or GTG. I'm talking about this: "I sent my TT DJ to the RSC. While it's at the spa, I'm sporting my DRSD. I think a trip to my AD is in order for a look at a ND Sub. I'd like to compare it to the new PO." I've started the basics but need your help adding to the list. I keep getting distracted (hey, my screen name is ulackfocus after all!) and seeing as it's second nature I can't list it all because I'm too used to it. Here's what I have. Please add on your replies, and then we'll edit it into one post with forum specific terminology. Hello all - I don't normally post much on this forum, but I thought I'd share something funny that happened at an AP authorized dealer here in so cal. When I entered the store, I did a quick scan to see where the AP section was. There was a gentleman that was checking out watches at the display case, who was trying on a bunch of AP watches. He stood right smack in the middle of the case - all of the great pieces were in the center: 44mm ROO SS/Carbon/Ceramic, as well a bunch of 15400 pieces. I overheard him arguing with the saleslady about the polishing of the 15400. She told him that the links were brushed. Then he said No, you're wrong! they are polished. Just look at it! They went back and forth and the saleslady was getting visibly annoyed. I started to chuckle in my head and couldn't believe it. It was like two chickens fighting over something so minor.I figured since he wouldn't move and I couldn't get a good look at the pieces, i'll make one loop around the store. After 10 minu
