Halloween is my favorite childhood holiday for good reason; it attempts to imbue fantasy with reality for at least one day. And it is perfectly legitimate to do so. That is why I have been tempted on so many occasions to spend hundreds on fancy costumes.Likewise, Corum knows how to imbue a healthy amount of fantasy in their watches and make them perfectly legitimate luxury timepieces. Corum has released a number of interesting and high quality watches (many of them limited editions) over the years. For whatever reason, a large number of them have features a skull and other parts of a skeleton. They aren't spooky per se, but they are certainly avant garde and not for everyone. They are certainly for me though, and I love these mostly limited edition watches from Corum.Most of these watches are based on the Corum Bubble watch, with its tall domed sapphire crystals, and rounded shaped. Looking for a new strap
Like, the 70's are history, man! Finally splurged on a battery for my favorite chrono, but the strap is a joke (I got it off a 15 dollar ladies fashion watch that I bought just for the 'leather'). It's really cheap quality and won't last much longer, but it was the only thing I could find. As you can see by the pics my problem is there is only a 10mm gap between the lugs, and I'm stumped as to where I can find a Mens strap with a secondary piece that will fit between those stupid lugs. Obviously, at 10mm a metal bracelet is not an option- besides, it doesn't use spring bars. Just 2 wire bars that don't come out. Anyone have recommendations?
