- The other reviews said they thought the watch face was er than expected. It is fairly large but not too large for a wrist. I think it's a good value and fun to wear!

Ulysse Nardin 246-22B/391 wrist watches news:
After doing this job for over seven years now, attending every major auction, every major trade show and meeting many of the major collectors around the world, I think it's fair to say that it takes a lot to get me going these days. For example, in total honesty, there was one watch – one – that got me genuinely excited at Baselworld this year. None at SIHH. That's not to say there weren't many great introductions at both – there certainly were (and you can see them here and here), but I'm talking about watches that I found truly thrilling, on a personal level. Today, thanks to a visit from a friend from Japan, I can show you one that absolutely is, and while it has, in its day, raised a few eyebrows, it's a watch I would love to own. I am talking about a Rolex GMT-Master, the very first reference 6542 with the famous bakelite bezel, but one of only a small handful known with a white dial. Yup, let's go hands-on with the mythical albino GMT.
In your opinions, which would you choose for a first PAM, the 005 or 111? Is the clear back worth the extra $900 (approx) for the 111 or is the logo front of the 005 a must?
Hi All,This is my first post ..pls go easy...I have been after a Nautilus for a long while now..I have just been emailed by a dealer informing me that he has one in White Gold, as i like them...it is pretty much brand new (so he tells me)...I had a question on price if I may....it is up for $31k....does this sound a good deal to you guys?cheersG
Picked this up Sunday (thanks Mike). Traded in Schumi (which I still love), but can't keep them all. I wish AP would make the rubber strap for this one (it appears the blue strap on the new 42mm Navy would work perfectly due to the darker color blue, but need AP to make it for the 44mms).PS--thanks to Martin and Hamish for the input on this piece!
Wasn¡¯t even close to looking for this watch, but the AD brought it out whilst I was looking at a day date 40 and asked if I wanted it - tried it on and loved the green dial so went for it! Will have to make sure my next watch is ordered through them!I know there¡¯s a lot of people with these here, but you can¡¯t blame an excited watch guy for sharing his new pick up!!
