Hi all, I don't know how I start to collect American vintage watches, but even I'm a beginner, I got to love them.Last arrived is a small Art Deco Ladies Benrus of '20 years.My concern is that is missing the Benrus on dial and the marks on mechanism seems to be manually made. How many is too much?
I'd like to get my collection down to a nice even dozen. But it's very hard and takes a lot of discipline.So I'm wondering how many watches is too many? Right now, I can wear a different one every day for a month!

What type of watch hands do you like
I was winding some of the watches today and realized that there is definitely a pattern with my hands. Particularly, I am seeing long minute and second hands, and no second hands that are curved at the tip.So it got me to wondering, has anyone else noticed a style or shape (or anything else) about their watch hands that complete the picture?

127 vs 217 vs 508
Considering current market prices which would you get right now? Have we seen the bottom line with the 127 and 217 or will prices continue to fall? Pretty sure the 508 will lose some steam as well but it's always an interesting take with the SE's.
