AllI have mistakenly deleted the thread started yesterday by Tom Diss. This came about when I went to delete one of my own posts; rather than permanently delete the post I managed to kill the whole thread. Not clever; especially considering the sensitivity of the subject.Fortunately I had it open on another screen and was able to recover the first page. This is reprinted below verbatim and I have screen shots available - if anyone wishes to see what they'd posted as it looked then please PM me. What we have lost is, as memory serves, two posts from Coronado (Bryan) asking for details of sponsorship and the patron program as well as a mention of volunteering to pay sponsorship for his site as well as that of Rene and International Dial. There was also a question by another poster whether the WTF Sales Forum violated the posting rules; Tom had replied that it did not; a minimum Patron program payment of $10 per year permits one to post in the Sales Forum. It's been a while since I've had an incoming post. With numerous expenses occurring in the last one year, it's been difficult for me to save up for a new watch...my wife however was! And when I reached back home from work on Valentine's day she presented me with a watch that was sitting on my wish list for a while now! It was truly a wonderful surprise :)The watch I'm talking about is the Tag Heuer F1 WAH1011.BT0717 and my first impression was that it's built like a tank! The construction is solid and as expected, there is no play in any of the parts. It feels ready to take whatever you can throw at it and it's also rated at 200M water resistant(though I plan to treat mine with a lot of TLC). Here are a few quick pics:Tag Heuer F1 (WAH1011.BT0717)You just can't go wrong with a white dial! The 'Tag Heuer' name embossed on the side, though a bit flashy, looks quite niceChunky, but easy to use crown, bearing the Tag Heuer emblemThe dial is extremely easy to read and I love the black sub di
What are you wearing today - it's Saturday in Oz.I bought this about 12 years ago.It was my everyday wearer for about 12 months.I haven't seen another like it.IMO one of the most photogenic watches I have seen.
Hi everyone,Looking for a second hand 36 DD..the price difference is substantial as well as their age. What should I look for when buying a DD? Where is the sweet spot regarding production year vs price? Are there any other issues I should consider beside price and production year (technical stuff, not gold/dial color).
