- Only time will tell if these watches are worth the money we spent on them, but we did buy 2 and my 18 year old and 21 year old grandsons were thrilled with all they claim they will do. So far so good!

Ulysse Nardin 243-00b-3/42 wrist watches news:
I'm heading to my favorite shops in Tokyo to see if any of the new models have been delivered (right; I know they haven't), and I'll probably be wearing my GMT IIC. It will be around 95 degrees (35 Celsius) today with high humidity; just like yesterday. Tokyo in August is like one big sauna.
On the Bay: # 280455347671The 'early returns' are in, and IMHO we have a winner! (I am posting this because I informed the seller of this twice a few weeks agoand he's now relisted it without correcting his serious errors.)
So two weeks ago today, I ordered an Invicta 8926OB. I thought that this would make a nice addition to my collection. It arrived in the country on Monday, but only got cleared at customs yesterday. This is where the trouble started. Got an e-mail notification from the online store I bought the watch from, that the watch has arrived at their offices and has been send off with courier X (which was the first point of concern, because they used courier B for delivery last week for my other Invicta). I phoned courier X to find out who they use in my town to do their deliveries (as I did with courier B), and I was informed they do not have offices in my town (which I knew) and they do not use any of the local courier companies to do deliveries for them, and if the said item where to arrive at their offices in Johannesburg, it will just be returned to the sender. I then send an e-mail to the online store, telling them the situation. Within in 10min. I received an e-mail, apologizing fo
Ok, many of you know that I blew a big chunk of my Patek savings on a Patek for my wife. She is way more deserving than me. Anyway, most of you also know from previous posts that I will not wear any watch if I cant have my ideal watch. I do not usually compromise on this. However, for $9 I had to. I will not remove this watch from my wrist untill I purchase the Ideal watch for me. Either a platinum Patek, Nardin, Sohne, or Breguet. Maybe even a Zenith, Glashutte, even possibly an RGM (bespoke of course). May take a year or so, but what the hell.
Hope to hear from 26300 owners... Do you regularly clean it with soap and water or is that a bit too risky considering its 50m only WR and chrono buttons? Also how well does the metal finish absorb scratches and hairlines? Thanks!Kyung: I am calling you and your gorgeous blue dial Chrono out!
