My first Hamilton electric!
I have been collecting watches for a few years now, and I have grown very fond of the pre-war mechanical Hamilton's. But not to be exclusive, I have also acquired a few Bulova's, Elgin, Waltham and Illinois. I just got my first electric - a Polaris I in 14K - here is a picture from the seller.It's a beauty - serviced and in excellent condition. Just wanted to show it off! ;)

Lume test
So was a bit bored this evening... Did a small lume test.Pictures is JLC Navy Seals, AP ROC, AP ROO Diver, Rolex Submariner.Loaded the lume with a LED lenser 225 lumens flashlight, 30 sec each.First picture fully charged, second picture 15min delay, third picture 30min delay.Easy to pick the winner... I'm not overly impressed by the Divers lume longevity to be honest. I did the test in a dusky light, as this light is IMHO a light where the lume comes into account. (Sorry for the bad pics)

5726/1A - White Dial or Grey Dial?
Hi Everyone, it's my first Patek post in this forum.I was looking to get an everyday use Patek that doesn't stand out too much so thought a steel Nautilus would be best. And sort of settled on a 5726/1A with the steel bracelet because I thought the Annual Calendar function would be useful. I am in two minds about the grey or white dial..
