Ulysse Nardin 243-55-7/91 wrist watches news:
England's Danny Willett was already reaching for his Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore Chronograph when Jordan Spieth missed a short putt for birdie on the 16th hole, all but sealing the race for the 80th Masters. And the carbon watch was on Willett's wrist by the time he was presented with the Green Jacket, the first of his career.Spieth looked to be on course for his second consecutive Masters title, leading the pack from day one and starting strongly on the final round. But the young American crumbled on the back nine, scoring a quadruple-bogey on the 12th and leaving room for an unlikely comeback. Willett, who started the day three shots behind Spieth, fired a 67 to capture the 80th Masters title.Audemars Piguet is strongly linked to the golfing community. The manufacture's CEO, Fran?ois-Henry Bennahmias, once had a promising golf career in front of him, ranking as high as #25 on the French golf tour before pursuing a career in luxury. But he's stayed very close to the professiona
Hey everyone,I am looking to buy my first watch and I've decided to go with a Hamilton.I am looking for a daily watch, nothing too fancy that I would wear with either a brown leather or rubber strap.Any suggestions and pictures would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
I was hoping someone on this forum could supply some information on this watch, other than what is obvious. I know it is a presentation watch from the office of Admiral Soong Chang-Chih of the Republic of China. He was, among many things, Commander-in-Chief, Navy 1970-1976, Chief of the Gen. Staff, 76-81, Minister of National Defense, 81-86, Strategy Advisor to the President, 86-87, and Amb. to Panama, 87-91.I believe it is an early 70's Chinese quartz movement. The "diamonds" on the face are costume. There is no manufacturer name anywhere on this watch. It is from the personal effects of a family member but I know nothing of its history or value. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
Audemars Piguet 26331ST.OO.1220ST.01. - blue dial (~$23-24k) orRolex white gold GMT - BLRO (~$24-26k)Also considering Patek 5712 - all steel (~$40k ? should be low 30s ?- but prices seem to have moved up a lot..)what are the msrp's of the AP and Patek ?? I have a white gold sub and a 44mm Plat ROOIs the BLRO too similar to my smurf?Prefer to add a watch - could swap the smurf for the AP..but I think id miss the smurf (I LOVE the flat blue surrounded by white gold)Since I own an AP and a Rolex maybe the Patek is the right choice? Just seems like the prices of the 5712 have moved up too much. Thoughts?
