Geneva’s SIHH watch fair is only a month away, and the luxury watch brands exhibiting there continue to offer sneak peeks at several of their new timepieces set to debut in 2014. This week we take a look at three new watches from Panerai, Jaeger-LeCoultre, and A. Lange & S?hne.The Panerai Luminor 1950 Left-Handed 3 Days – 47 MM (Ref. PAM00557), with its winding crown and patented crown protection device positioned at 9 0’clock on the left side of the case, recalls some of Panerai’s earliest models created for Italian naval commandos of the 1930s and 1940s. These military divers used to wear several wrist instruments at once, including compasses and depth gauges, and often preferred to wear the watch on their right wrist. The modern version of this vintage Panerai watch has a cusped caseband that distinguishes it from the traditional Luminor 1950 case and, in the historical models, represented the transition between the Radiomir and Luminor case styles. JeanRichard 2TimeZones Watches
JeanRichard is having enough success with their well-designed line of Diverscope dive watches to merit an on-going stream of limited editions. Here is one of my favorites. They rename the watch the "2TimeZones," add some complications, and make the case out of zirconium. I think there are 2TimeZones watches that aren't in Zirconium that I took images of below. Why zirconium? It is a lot like titanium, but not titanium. Need I say more? The watch is not only a 2 time zone watch, but also a nifty world timer. One that genuinely wants to be a better world timer than the rest of them. I like how the main time and second timezone are actually totally different in style. That way you don't mix the two up - something I would personally be prone to doing. This is probably my favorite second timezone watch that I've ever checked out.The dial has of course the time, a small window for the date, then below it one for the time zone reference city. Speedmaster 9300 case finish...
Hello Everyone,I want to get one of the new Speedmaster 9300s and then add the other one's strap/bracelet. I was wondering if there is a difference between 311.33.44.51.01.001 case with leather and 311.33.44.51.01.002 case with bracelet. I checked them in two different stores at separate times, but I have a feeling 001 comes with a polished case, while 002 has a brushed steel case. Can anyone confirm this? If this is true, then I cannot get 001 and add the bracelet later, because the braceet is brushed steel. However, I can get 002 and put croc on it later.Thanks in advanced...

First time poster here. Appreciate all the messages and wanted some advice. Currently own 5711 blue dial and really like the look of the new 5396G-014 but I had a question - my AD said he's probably getting one in the fall that he could hold for me but it doesn't seem like this is a limited edition and shouldn't be hard to get. Do you think it's wise to go for it or, if it's not limited edition, is it better to wait and get one later pre-owned at a significant discount?DG

I can purchase both these watches for the exact same price and both are bnib.I am 35 and travel a lot for work. Having owned a Hulk for the past 5 years, I really feel it¡¯s time to get a GMT. I used to have one but was stolen from my house a few years ago u fortunately.There is this craze going on about the Batman. But does it make sense paying €9500 for the Batman while I can get a bnib TT GMT for the same amount of money ? That¡¯s 2500 cheaper than AD price.What would you do dear fellow TRF addicts ? 😁
