Ulysse Nardin 6109-103/e3 wrist watches news:
I am looking for:(pic from bczolone)Hamilton38mm case (black, or silver dail)ChronoAutomaticBlack leather or canvas strap (I would not mind an olive strap either)Where can I get this watch? I am certain it is the Khaki series but I think this watch is discontinued.I would really perfer a Hamilton however, any other suggestion for this type of watch?
I intend to buy two watches in the near future: a Rolex Explorer II or GMTIIc (not sure which of the two, as I love both and see pros and cons to both) and the new PO GMT (because I like POs and find the 43.5 mm watch is the best size available, and looks great with the darker bezel). On the other hand, since I'll be getting a Rolex 4-hander, a GMT PO may be overkill. Which takes me to today: I am selling a mint 1-year old Breitling Chronomat 44, with full set and warranty, to fund these watch purchases. Not having the easiest time selling it, despite the tremendous value.I am offered a straight trade for a LNIB, never-worn Omega Planet Ocean 42 mm. I am seeking your advice as to the values of the watches in that trade. MSRP on the Breitling (with in-house B01 movement) is $8960. To my knowledge, it's difficult to get a warrantied/full set in-house Breitling for much less than 25% discount. (Grey watches sell for less.) I don't think it can be bought new with full papers and warranty fo
I've been an Omega collector for many years and didn't even know that TRF existed. But in May of 2008, I came over here in my search for a watch to fill the GMT niche in my collection.Lo and behold, I not only found a friendly, helpful group of members over on the Rolex Discussion Group but there was also a few interested in Omegas. So I began to hang out over here and tried to contribute as best I could.Suddenly, I realized that I have gone from zero Rolex to three in as many years with a vintage 6050, a 16710 (M/3186), and a 16600 (also an M).But it has also been interesting to see so many Rolexers have come to appreciate Omegas. New converts seem to pop up almost daily.Psalm 133:1 comes to mind, and to paraphrase, How good and pleasant it is for Omega and Rolex fans to live in harmony.Fr. John?
Just wanted to share a pic of my gorgeous Gondolo 5111JHave a good weekend everyone
I only had time ( I was rushed ) to take 1 picture, but this was taken with my $2 macro clip on lens on an old Samsung Galaxy SII phone.I thought it turned out pretty well. With more time and better light/tripod, I know plenty more pictures are coming.Let me know what you think.
